Rain stays outside thanks to a 10,000 mm polyurethane layer on the gradient shell, with seams taped at the armholes, shoulders, hood and crotch and a fluorocarbon-free BIONIC-FINISH® ECO finish that repels water and dirt. Polar fleece warms the jacket body and hood from the inside, while polyester/cotton jersey lines the pants. Elastic wrists with Velcro® tabs, a wind stopper placket, zip side pockets and reflective tapes cover the walk to school, and double-thickness knees with elastic ankles suit kids who kneel in wet grass at recess.
