Snowsuits

(227 products)

Our snowsuit collection gathers one-piece and two-piece snow suits for babies and kids, from 3 months up to size 16, along with snow pants and bibs for recess, sledding and ski lessons. About nine in ten styles are Deux par Deux, and Nano, Blizz and Hatley round out the choice for big kids and toddlers.

Deux par Deux rates its PLAY and DISCOVER suits to -30°C with 10,000 mm waterproofing, gives its TEKNIK ski suits the same -30°C rating with a 15,000 mm shell, and keeps the lightweight CHILL two-pieces at -5°C for spring snow. Its baby car seat one-pieces, including the Snug and Cloud styles, list a -20°C rating. Blizz 5-piece sets for kids 4 to 16 are rated to -40°C, Nano one-piece and two-piece suits run from 2Y to 14Y with a -30°C rating, and Hatley makes Snowday suits for toddlers plus cozy baby winter bundlers.

To narrow the choice by child, open girls' snowsuits or boys' snowsuits for sizes 2 to 16, and baby girls' snowsuits or baby boys' snowsuits for car seat suits up to 3T. Measuring tips are in our snowsuit sizing guide, a thin layer from kids' base layers goes underneath, and a toque with matching mitts from winter accessories completes the outfit.

Snowsuits FAQ

How do I choose a snowsuit warmth rating?

Match the rating to how cold and how long your child plays outside. Deux par Deux PLAY, DISCOVER and TEKNIK suits are rated to -30°C, while the lightweight CHILL line is rated to -5°C for milder days and spring snow. Blizz rates its 5-piece sets to -40°C, and Nano lists its suits at -30°C.

Should I buy a one-piece or a two-piece snowsuit?

A one-piece keeps snow out at the waist and is quick to zip on, while a two-piece splits into a jacket and snow pants that also work on their own. If your child already has a winter coat, Deux par Deux PLAY snow pants and overall snow bibs come in sizes 2 to 14. Our guide to one-piece vs two-piece snowsuits compares the features.

What age and size ranges do your snowsuits cover?

Sizes run from 3 months to kids size 16. Baby suits go from 3 months to 3T, Deux par Deux PLAY suits from 2 to 14, DISCOVER from 2 to 8 and TEKNIK from 4 to 16. See baby girls snowsuits or baby boys snowsuits for little ones, and use the snowsuit sizing guide to measure.

Should I size up to leave room for layers?

Measure height and weight and compare them with the Deux par Deux size chart. Deux par Deux lists most PLAY, DISCOVER and TEKNIK suits as fitting generously, so you don't need to size up, and many have sleeves that extend 4 cm and adjustable hems. Leave room for a thin layer from kids base layers.

Which snowsuit brand is right for ski days, school or toddlers?

For ski days, Deux par Deux TEKNIK suits list a helmet-compatible hood, a ski-pass sleeve pocket and 15,000 mm waterproofing. Nano suits list reinforced knees, seat and hems for school-yard play, and Hatley Snowday suits for toddlers 24 months to 5 years open with two front zippers for easier dressing.
