Joule FAQ

Who makes Joules?

Joules is a British clothing brand from Market Harborough, Leicestershire. It began as Joule & Sons, set up by Ian Joule in 1977, and Tom Joule took over in 1989 and grew it into a lifestyle brand inspired by British country life and known for its colourful wellies.

What sizes does Joules come in at Jenni Kidz?

Joules baby clothes start at 0–3 months, and kids' clothing runs up to 12 years. Rain boots use US children's shoe sizes, and socks come in their own size bands. Each product page lists the sizes available for that style.

What is the difference between waterproof and showerproof Joules jackets?

Joules lists some jackets as waterproof, some with heat-sealed seams, while showerproof and water-repellent styles are meant for light showers. Several are packable, and many list recycled polyester. Compare them in boys coats and jackets and girls coats and jackets.

What fabrics does Joules use?

It depends on the piece: many jackets, gilets and parkas list recycled polyester, baby rompers and dresses are listed as organically grown cotton, and some socks are a bamboo blend. Find socks in kids socks and tights.

What does Joules make for babies?

For babies, Joules has zip rompers, knitted sweaters and hooded cardigans, plus printed dresses and dress sets. Browse baby girl dresses and baby boy one-pieces to compare with other brands.

Do you ship Joule to Canada and the US?

Yes. Every order ships from Canada, usually within 1–3 business days, with an estimated delivery time of 6–10 days within Canada and 8–15 days to the US. Shipping is free on orders of $160 CAD or more in Canada and $160 USD or more in the US; smaller orders ship for a flat $15.95 CAD or $10.95 USD. US shoppers see prices in US dollars, and US orders are subject to customs duties and taxes, which are paid by the customer. See our shipping policy for details.

Can I return Joule items?

Yes, within 14 days of receiving your order. Contact us before sending anything back; items must be unworn and unused, with tags and original packaging, and return shipping is paid by the customer. Full details are in our return and refund policy.
